Brown began her pageant career at the age of 15, when she competed in local Alabama teen pageants. She was the first runner-up in Miss Alabama’s Outstanding Teen 2010 and the second runner-up in Miss Alabama Teen USA 2011.

Brown went on to compete in Miss Alabama 2013, representing Tuscaloosa, but she did not place. Brown returned to pageantry after a brief hiatus to compete in Miss Alabama USA 2017 but did not place. The following year, she returned to represent West Alabama and was crowned Miss Alabama USA 2018.
