Kate Gosselin Claims She And Son Collin Are Close After Ex Jon Slammed Her For Having Zero

Previously, Jon Gosselin accused his former wife of not being in any contact with their 14-year-old son, Collin who is currently in his custody. However, Kate is now clapping back, claiming that it is not the case at all!

A couple of months after winning temporary custody of Collin, Jon took to social media to slam Kate Gosselin for having ‘zero’ contact with the teen boy.

Kate, who is now promoting her spin-off show, Kate Plus Date was in attendance at the Television Critics Association (TCA) and told the press that she is, in fact, close with all eight of her kids.

When asked if she is close to Collin, Kate, who was doing a joint interview with twin daughters, Madelyn and Cara, responded: ‘Yes, we are close with all of the kids, their brothers, and sisters.’

Earlier this month, Jon posted a pic with Collin, and one fan commented: ‘He looks great! I do wonder though why Kate never shares pictures of him, as if she never even sees or spends time with him. You’re a great dad!’

Someone else proceeded to defend Kate by saying that: ‘You don’t know that off social media and cameras that she didn’t go and see her son, or how often she does.’

Despite this, Jon made it clear to the second user that the answer is ‘ZERO,’ meaning that the mother of eight doesn’t spend any time with Collin.

As for her new show that will have Kate looking for love again, she stated that: ‘I was out of the dating loop since before I was married, maybe 20 years ago. In terms of what I was looking for – I knew what I wasn’t looking for, but I couldn’t easily articulate what I was looking for. It was difficult for me to articulate. This is a very real show. I am looking for someone.’
