His acting career began in 1993 with his portrayal of Gregory K in the made-for-television drama “A Place to Be Loved”. This was quickly followed by his iconic role as Scotty Smalls in the family drama “The Sandlot”. He went on to appear in various other productions throughout the ’90s, such as “Lassie”, “The Last Home Run”, “All I Wanna Do”, and “Ride with the Devil”.
